We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the public sector. This role will see you working in a high-performing ICT environment, providing critical coordination and governance support across multiple projects driving modernisation and innovation.

About the Role You'll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, helping keep deliverables on track, documentation up to date, and stakeholders informed.

Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Provide project and program support across a portfolio of digital initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, registers, reports and documentation.
  • Track budgets, milestones and performance data to assist in informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and governance forums including agenda prep, minutes and action tracking.
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support seamless project delivery.
  • Manage documentation and records across systems such as SharePoint, eDRMS, Microsoft Project, Planner, DevOps, and SAP.

About You You're organised, adaptable and thrive in structured environments where attention to detail matters. You bring a strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and can support teams working under both Agile and traditional methods.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Project or Senior Project Officer supporting ICT or digital projects.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile, or MSP).
  • Experience with project tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, SAP and similar systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Experience preparing reports, managing budgets, and tracking deliverables in complex environments.
