Senior Project Officer – QLD Government

Berrinba | Mutdapilly | Brisbane CBD | Attractive Hourly Rate | Hybrid Flexibility

Play a key role in delivering a large scale environmental management project focused on land and pest control. This position suits an experienced project professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate large field-based projects with a focus on treatment and monitoring activities
  • Coordinate a small project team and oversee operational activities
  • Engage with landholders and stakeholders to support treatment programs
  • Ensure accurate data capture, reporting and governance across project systems
  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Strong project management experience in environmental, agricultural or biosecurity programs
  • Skilled in ArcGIS or similar mapping software
  • Excellent stakeholder and team management capabilities
  • Solution-focused, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
