THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Project Coordinator to work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. In this role, you will take ownership of financial management through cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control, while also leading procurement processes including sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating suppliers. Acting as the central communication point, you will foster strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, programming, and overall project coordination.
- Deliver accurate financial management by monitoring costs, preparing forecasts, and maintaining project budgets.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, RFIs, variations, and registers.
- Manage procurement process including sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts,
- Act as the central communication point between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Support financial administration by processing claims, variations, purchase orders, and monitoring budgets.
- Ensure strict compliance with company systems, ISO requirements, safety, and quality standards.
- Assist in site inspections, OHS documentation, and addressing quality non-conformances.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years of onsite exposure and hands on experience
- Understand construction methodologies and the practicalities of site and project management
- Sound knowledge and experience in OHS and Quality processes to ensure projects delivered safely, on time and to standard
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong organisational, time-management and attention to detail skills
