Job Title: Billing Officer (Grade 1) - Finance

  • Parkville, Melbourne Location

About the Role

This is a permanent position at 80 per fortnight within the Finance Department.

You will work in a small team dedicated to excellence, ensuring billing is completed correctly the first time, in an efficient manner.

Classification for this position will range from AO11 to AO15 (base salary $58,396 to $64,584 per annum, plus superannuation)

What you'll achieve:

  • Completion of daily billing tasks, achieving set key performance indicators
  • Excellence in customer service

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office products, Electronic Medical Records and Billing Systems
  • Proven customer service focus
  • Ideally, you will have an understanding of Medicare billing guidelines and requirements, private patient billing and private health funds
