About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll drive sales of Planit's cutting-edge solutions, build strong client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Based in Perth, you'll focus on expanding our local market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by securing new clients and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Build and manage a balanced pipeline across technical testing, quality engineering, and digital solutions.
  • Create strategic account plans to acquire key targets in Perth and WA.
  • Meet revenue, margin, and order intake targets with accurate forecasting.
  • Respond to tenders and advocate for Planit's value proposition via client engagements and social media.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to support complex projects and foster client advocacy.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets in IT, solutions, or consultative sales.
  • Strong ability to identify and close pipeline opportunities quickly.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging senior executives.
  • Established network in Perth/WA, including public sector contacts (State/Regional government).
  • Experience in contract negotiation, pipeline management, and multi-year account planning.
  • Team player with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
