Accounts Administration Officer

Your new company

is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support our finance and administrative functions. This dynamic role offers exposure across payroll, accounting, HR, and general business operations.

Your new role

  • Manage and support full-cycle payroll processing.
  • Assist with compliance reporting including BAS
  • Provide support for HR-related tasks and documentation.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and process incoming payments (EFTPOS, credit card, etc.).
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure adherence to trade credit terms.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
  • Contribute to product costing through data analysis to support pricing and profitability decisions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.
  • Review and process credit applications and maintain debtor/creditor records.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly.

As well as experience related to the above, you will have a proven track record in the following:

  • Exceptional attention to detail - accuracy is key across financial and administrative tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills - ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability - able to pivot between tasks and respond to changing priorities.
