About the Role

We are currently seeking a casual Administration Officer to join our Administration team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for customer-focused professionals who thrives in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality service. Whether you are supporting clinical teams on the ward or handling administrative tasks behind the scenes, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient hospital operations.

• Proven administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or customer service setting.


• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.

In this role, you will perform a range of administrative tasks in alignment with our Ramsay Core Values, supporting both our customers and clinical teams.

Key responsibilities of this job include:


• Admission process of admitting and discharging patients.


• Managing incoming and outgoing calls.


• Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.


• Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.


• Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.

You will also bring:


• Previous medical reception and ward clerk experience preferred.


• Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.


• Ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements


• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
