About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration & Centre Support Officer to join our team. This role is central to supporting the Centre Manager and educators in the daily operation of the centre. You will be the first point of contact for families and play an important role in administration, enrolments, and compliance support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties – welcoming families and visitors, managing phone and email enquiries
  • Assist with enrolments, child records, and fee administration
  • Support the Centre Manager with compliance and reporting tasks
  • Assist with rostering and maintaining staff records
  • General office administration including filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Liaising with families in a professional and supportive manner
  • Supporting centre events and communications

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous administration or reception experience (childcare/education sector preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with childcare software (OWNA, Xplor, etc.) is an advantage
  • A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check / Blue Card (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of the Children's Services Award 2010 (MA preferred)
