Lady & The Fox catering and events have the expertise in a range of events – from modern weddings to sophisticated and seamless event and corporate catering. Our outstanding service and stellar reputation make us one of the premier catering teams throughout Geelong, the Bellarine and Surf Coast. As our business has grown we are looking for a passionate production manager to oversee the day to day running of the kitchen to ensure the success of each and every order/event.

Qualifications & experience

  • Qualified chef with more than 5 years experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of current food trends within the industry
  • Relevant experience in managing a kitchen team, overseeing production and delivery of catering for events
  • Victorian Drivers License (manual)
  • Proven experience in the delivery and execution of catering to a high and consistent standard
  • Certificate IV in commercial cookery/Diploma of Hospitality (or similar qualification)

Tasks & responsibilities

  • We are looking for an efficient and approachable Manager who will lead and motivate our kitchen team while maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Manage and oversee the production of food while maintaining extremely high standards and consistency.
  • Understand and monitor par levels and stock while minimising waste in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work well as part of the management team, take direction and be self assertive in achieving goals.
  • Manage the kitchen team to effectively meet timelines whilst maintaining food standards.
  • Liaise with management to achieve set tasks.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with all suppliers and key stakeholders of the business.
  • Clear and concise communication skills both written and oral.
  • Overall eye for detail and passion for ensuring the success of each an every event/order.
