About the Position:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll / Bookkeeper to join the team at their Mandurah office. This is a Monday to Friday role with some flexibility on hours. The position offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a friendly and professional team, supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
- Interpreting and applying EBA conditions accurately.
- Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Managing intercompany billings and reconciliations.
- Assisting with bookkeeping duties using MYOB AccountRight.
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting general office administration and reporting.
- Liaising with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with audits, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks to support broader business operations.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in payroll and bookkeeping roles.
- Strong understanding of EBAs and payroll compliance.
- Proficiency with MYOB AccountRight (including Payroll).
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
- Construction industry background highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
