About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Receptionist/ Shire Liaison Officer to join our team at First Homebuilders' head office in Balcatta, Western Australia. In this full-time position, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and supporting our operations. Your role will involve acting as a liaison between the company and the local shire, ensuring smooth communication and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls efficiently
  • Monitoring and managing the visitor sign-in and sign-out process
  • Providing administrative support, including booking meetings and managing calendars
  • Liaising with the local shire on behalf of the business, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication
  • Assisting with other office duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the construction or property industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Proficient in using office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of local government regulations and procedures would be highly advantageous
