The Aquarium of Western Australia  (AQWA) is located in  Hillarys Boat Harbour.

AQWA is seeking an experienced, versatile, and enthusiastic RECEPTIONIST/BOOKINGS OFFICER for our busy reception area and bookings office.

Essential

  • Front of house experience
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Excellent "face to face" customer service skills in a busy tourist environment
  • Excellent phone skills in a busy reception area
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Superior communication skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced computer skills preferably with  point of sale and booking systems
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
  • Current WA Police Clearance
  • Current WA Driving Licence
  • Availability to work some weekday and alternate weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday) and some public holidays is essential; including during all school holidays. AQWA is open 364 days a year.
