Paralegal/New Client Liaison Officer | Family Law

We are a boutique family law firm based in Perth CBD seeking an experienced Paralegal/New Client Liaison Officer to join our laid back, close-knit team comprising of two Directors, two Associates, two Legal Assistants, an Office Manager and a Bookkeeper.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Managing all disclosure (discovery) related tasks (including sorting/collating/cataloguing/scanning/filing; liaising with clients or other party as required in relation to disclosure);
  • New client liaison (i.e. managing all new client calls and online enquiries, taking all necessary details and making client appointments);
  • Archiving;
  • Assisting with various other office and administrative tasks as required.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has experience working as a Paralegal/Law Clerk, including but not limited to working on disclosure/discovery;
  • has Filepro experience;
  • has excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • is interested in long-term employment prospects;
  • has good communication skills;
  • presents well;
  • is honest, reliable and hardworking;
  • appreciates the importance of a positive and collegiate workplace culture where everyone mucks in to get tasks done as required.

The position is fulltime with office hours being 8.30am until 4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am- 4pm on Friday.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
