What is the role?

We are currently looking for experienced Sous Chef's & Head Chef's to lead our kitchen teams to deliver exceptional customer experience through food.

As a Sous Chef and/or Head Chef you are food driven and have a strong focus on training to ensure our kitchen teams deliver exceptional food to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

· Leading and training kitchen team members.

· Managing daily food preparation and service.

· Maintaining expected quality of food.

· Monitoring food safety requirements.

· Day to day operation of a busy kitchen

· Ensure efficiency, quality and time management

· Ordering, stock control and budgets

· Assist with menu development

What is needed to be successful in this role?

· Minimum of 5 years in a Sous Chef or higher role

· Chef's trade qualification

· Ability to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday including weekends, nights and public holidays

· Proven experience with mentoring and training kitchen staff to improve their skills

· The ability to excel under pressure in a high-volume environment with great problem-solving skills

· Attention to detail to plating presentation

· Great teamwork and communication skills

· Must reside and hold a valid working visa in Australia
