About the role

We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie and Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Bells At Killcare, a renowned luxury coastal resort located on the picturesque Central Coast region of New South Wales. As a full-time member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the planning and coordination of daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment in your designated section of the kitchen
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed
  • Collaborate with the wider culinary team to deliver consistently outstanding meals
  • Participate in menu development and contribute ideas to enhance the dining experience
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Formal culinary qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Proven expertise in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food presentation and plating
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider culinary team
  • Passion for using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients to create innovative and flavoursome dishes
  • Full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
