Your Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a
Project Administrator
to provide administrative support to a large gold project. Based in our Perth city project office you will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the office and the person that keeps the office running smoothly.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Project Controls and Commercial teams, such as processing invoices and purchase orders.
- Managing and compiling project expense reports.
- Meeting clients and candidates in a friendly and prompt manner, whilst ensuring correct sign-in procedure is followed.
- Managing a group administration and office email inboxes.
- Managing project calendars and the leave tracker.
- Assisting with the set-up and coordination of meetings and conferences (including organising catering).
- Sorting incoming/outgoing mail and organising shipping/courier requests.
- Assisting with building and office maintenance requests (landlord, external contractors etc).
- Maintaining utilities and stationary supplies.
- Greeting new starters and assisting with office introduction and induction requirements.
- Assisting employees with administrative support including formatting, word processing, data entry, printing and attending to routine correspondence etc.
What You 'Can Do'
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Project Administration role within the engineering or construction sectors.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Office Administrator.
- Strong Microsoft skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels, both in written and verbal form.
- Well-developed administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and time management skills.
- A curious mindset with a proactive approach to seek knowledge and problem solve.
- Team focused approach, contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
