The opportunity

Thiess is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our workshop team and ensure mobile plant reliability at our Lake Vermont Project. This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover long leave, offering you the chance to step into a leadership role with one of the world's leading mining services providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and empower a skilled maintenance crew
• Ensure all mobile plant is maintained to OEM and Thiess standards
• Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Plan and execute maintenance strategies for optimal performance
• Foster strong relationships across internal teams and external suppliers

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification
• Proven experience in mobile plant maintenance within mining
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of Coal Mining Safety and Health Act
• Relevant Coal Mining Industry competencies
