About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cairns, Mackay or Brisbane based resident to step into a leadership role and drive productivity in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

This position is offered on a FIFO or DIDO basis.

As a Quarry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day quarry operations, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining equipment reliability, and leading a team to uphold the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mobile crushing operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate and oversee mobile crushing equipment, including jaw and cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintainer/operators, fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
  • Conduct routine inspections, identify operational issues, and assist with maintenance tasks such as screen changes, wear part replacements, and roller/skirting adjustments.
  • Ensure a clean, level, and well-maintained work area, including proper material blending and effective benching.
  • Communicate effectively with site management and stakeholders to optimise operations.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within mobile crushing, quarrying, or mining operations.

Strong knowledge of mobile crushing equipment operation and maintenance.

A current open Australian driver's license (mandatory).

Nationally accredited tickets for wheel loader and/or excavator operation.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour when required.
