About this opportunity:
  • Lead and manage a team responsible for operational maintenance and minor capital works.
  • Coordinate and deliver projects aligned with Council's strategic priorities and compliance standards.
  • Conduct building condition assessments and develop planned maintenance schedules.
  • Provide expert technical advice and oversee contractor performance.
  • Support contract renewals and ensure WHS compliance across all activities.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
  • Diploma (preferred), Certificate III/IV, or equivalent experience in Project Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • General Construction White Card.
  • QLD "C" Class Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery, asset maintenance, and contractor management.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations including Building Act, Fire Safety Act, and WHS legislation.
  • Ability to interpret building plans and manage WHS documentation.
