The Opportunity: Rare Opportunity has become available for an experienced Supervisor to join Wisely to execute planned maintenance works in the field of Light vehicles, medium vehicles and ancillary equipment.

  • Supervise and coordinate LV Workshop teams on a 8/6 day shift roster (12.5 hours), working back to back with another Supervisor.
  • Report directly to the Wisely Account Manager, Site Coordinator, and Glencore leadership to ensure operational objectives are met.
  • Lead planning, task allocation, and performance monitoring to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety audits, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with site procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Manage workshop breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, and trade tasks, ensuring timely completion of jobs.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a strong safety and performance culture.
  • Demonstrate analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, combined with attention to detail and customer-focused delivery.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated experience leading dynamic maintenance crews
  • Mechanical trade certificate and post trade minimum of 5 years
  • CMMS systems exposure - preferably SAP
  • Ability to foster a positive and safe inclusive work environment
  • Experience with light, medium vehicle and ancillary equipment maintenance or similar
  • Current CBM and S11 competencies
  • Industry supervisor qualifications and experience S1, S2, S3 - Supervisor Safety Training & G2 - Risk Management Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in open cut coal mine sites
  • Reside within commutable distance for DIDO Operations (flights will not be provided)
  • A working knowledge of relevant quality management systems and processes
  • A working knowledge of occupational health and safety systems and processes
  • A working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory in mining operations
