An exciting opportunity is available for a Family Support Coordinator to work across East Ayr State School and Home Hill State School.
We are seeking a dedicated and committed individual to lead family support and engagement from Pre-Prep to Prep, and to provide ongoing support from Prep to Year 2 within our diverse and complex communities.
In this role, you will assist families in accessing engagement
programs, support services, and community resources while building strong connections with external stakeholders. You will support positive attendance, behaviour, and learning outcomes by connecting families with services that help remove barriers to education.
A key component of this role will be identifying and supporting families to access Early Intervention Services within our community.
About the School
East Ayr State School develops every child's potential through quality learning experiences in the classroom and beyond. Students enjoy a wide range of cultural, sporting, and academic opportunities, while our team supports the vision of creating clever, skilled, and creative Queenslanders. Proud of our tradition of excellence, students wear their uniforms with pride and embrace our motto, Strive for Success, as they grow academically, personally, and socially. At East Ayr, we value safety, respect, responsibility, and learning, ensuring every student can achieve their personal best.

Our dedicated staff deliver a well-rounded education with challenging learning experiences and a wide range of arts, cultural, and sporting opportunities. As a Positive Behaviour for Learning school, we promote respect, care, and responsibility in all areas. We also value strong partnerships with families, inviting parents, grandparents, and relatives to actively contribute to school life and share their skills with our community.
About the Role
