Established in 1993, Buller Hospitality has welcomed hundreds of staff members each season from near and far. With many of these past staff members having continued their snow journey in ski resorts all over the world, or established careers locally within the snow industry, there are a load of opportunities out there if you're excited to make this season a lifestyle.

We're looking for Kitchen staff with varying levels of experience to join our team at Mt Buller for the coming winter season.

Cook – Casual

As our Cook, you'll play a key role in creating the meals that keep guests coming back. You'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking meals with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation.

  • Supporting the Head Chef with kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock rotation.

  • Ensuring food hygiene and kitchen safety standards are upheld at all times.

  • Helping maintain a clean, well-organized, and efficient kitchen.

Sous Chef – Casual

As our Sous Chef your main responsibility is to provide the highest quality of food production and presentation. The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef with the cost effective management of the kitchen team to maximise F&B profitability.

  • Coordinate activities between Kitchen & FOH to ensure prep of bookings for restaurant and events

  • Ensure Product Management & Inventory control procedures are adhered to

  • Monitor daily kitchen food & product requirements

  • Promote teamwork to achieve department goals so that assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner
