At Woodhouse Adventure Park, we're looking for a capable, practical, and self-motivated Maintenance & Services Officer to help keep our 54-hectare property safe, functional, and looking its best. From general repairs and infrastructure checks to mowing, pruning and getting things guest-ready, this is a hands-on, full-time role where no two days are quite the same.

Whether it's a school camp, wedding, or family weekend away - your work helps create the kind of experience that people remember for all the right reasons.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • General property maintenance across buildings, amenities, and basecamps
  • Basic repairs (patching, painting, fixing, adjusting) and minor projects
  • Grounds upkeep - mowing, pruning, clearing debris and managing seasonal tasks
  • Setting up equipment and assisting with guest preparation (e.g. fire drums, BBQs, signage)
  • Performing routine checks (e.g. gas bottles, water systems, hazards)
  • Reporting issues and logging tasks using internal job tracking systems
  • Supporting volunteers and contractors when needed
Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll need

  • A good set of practical skills and a hands-on mindset
  • Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping or similar work
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time well
  • Confidence using tools and small machinery
  • Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all weather
  • A current SA driver's license and police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
