Baiada is a privately owned Australian Company providing premium quality poultry products throughout Australia. At Baiada Poultry our primary objective is to provide our customers with the highest quality products and excellent service.

Maintenance Fitter positions have become available at our South Australia plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager; the role requires trade qualified, self-motivated workers with the ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical issues swiftly and professionally. You will be responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Day to day operations of the plant
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs inline with our preventative maintenance program
  • Attend to breakdown situations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct maintenance in line with WHS and QA systems
  • Be able to work independently and within a team
  • Installation and fabrication of machinery and equipment

Essential Skills

  • Trade qualified
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • TIG welding preferred but not essential
  • Experience with CMMS platforms preferred
  • Self-motivated

This position offers a fortnightly rotating roster that provides an excellent balance of work and rest, allowing you to enjoy time off while keeping your work routine dynamic and flexible

Roster Schedule

  • Week 1: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on
  • Week 2: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off

Overtime will be required depending on workload and operational demands. You will have the opportunity to earn additional income by working outside regular hours.
