As maintenance officer, you will be responsible for:

  • General maintenance and upkeep of buildings and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinating maintenance of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems and communicating with relevant trades.
  • General repair work, such as painting, patching walls, hanging shelves and landscaping.
  • Make minor repairs and inspections of equipment.
  • Some gardening and cleaning duties as required, including cleaning gutters and pressure washing etc.
  • Ensuring all hotels have adequate heating, lighting and ventilation and that these are properly cleaned and in good working condition.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of self and others.
  • Reporting any hazards and/or risks within the business immediately.
  • Recording works completed and communications in the venue maintenance log.

Our maintenance team work together on special projects such as:

  • The Moseley Beach Club which is set up annually for summer.
  • Igloos, set up annually for winter.
  • Other large jobs that require significant time and effort and are best achieved as a team.
