About the role:
As part of the Aftermarkets team, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and make a significant impact in the field. You will supervise field personnel on site and provide technical support to Sandvik Rock Processing customers. Your expertise will help identify and analyze equipment conditions, offering recommendations and solutions to minimize unplanned downtime, while ensuring the safe execution of all work in compliance with OH&S management systems.
Specific duties include:
- Supervising Sandvik employees and contract personnel at mine sites and workshops.
- Perform OEM mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vibrating screens at customers' CHPPs and mine sites.
- Collaborate with customer maintenance personnel to plan and execute maintenance works based on equipment inspections and feedback.
- Ensuring breakdown readiness and compliance of equipment and assets during mobilisation and demobilisation processes.
- Regular travel to customer sites across WA with occasional interstate travel and weekend work.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about engineering, enjoy hands-on work, and are eager to take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Your contributions will be valued as you help drive the success of our team and support our customers.
What you'll bring:
- Previous supervision experience
- Cert III trade qualification in a Mechanical discipline, or similar
- Previous experience with external customers
- Proven ability to understand, interpret technical customer needs
- Experience with vibrating screens, including maintenance and field service support, will be highly regarded
