The allied health workforce is supported to achieve clinical excellence through a commitment to improving quality, creating continuous improvement opportunities and a culture of learning and development.
About the role:- Deliver professional allied health clinical and non-clinical services commensurate with experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Actively contribute to service and caseload management and planning within the work unit.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary person-centred care as well as coordinated and integrated service delivery through effective communication with teams, patients, and their families/caregivers.
- Provide clinical practice and operational supervision to work experience students, or those involved in observational clinical placements. As level of experience increases, provide clinical education for students and less experienced staff with support of senior clinical staff.
- Participate in professional support activities including, but not limited to, supervision and/or mentoring.
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Health Science (or equivalent)
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Occupational Therapy
- Pharmacy
- Physiotherapy
- Podiatry
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Speech Pathology
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $ $73.24 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
- An hourly rate between $ $58.59 p.h. (temp/perm)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
