Due to continued growth and exciting new engagements with customers, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team for a 6 month fixed term contract. In this role you will contribute to the development of , our new AI-powered Integrated Production Planning software product, targeted at the Mining & Minerals Processing industry.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews & workshops
  • Translate business needs into clear, functional specifications and user stories
  • Create and maintain acceptance criteria for user stories and features
  • Drive effective collaboration and act as the primary connection between business stakeholders and the Development team
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate scope changes when required
  • Present findings, proposals and project updates
  • Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning and retrospective meetings
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate delivered features meet business requirements
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track project progress and requirements status

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of business process modelling and mapping
  • Demonstrated experience as a BA in system integration projects
  • Demonstrated experience in a SaaS or software product environment
  • Experience with product management tools, such as Confluence, Jira or similar
  • Strong data analysis skills, including experience with Excel, or data visualization such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of user stories (UX) principles and their role in shaping product functionality
  • Previous involvement in product launches, upgrades or large scale system implementations would be desirable
  • Demonstrated experience with Mining and or Processing operational areas would be desirable
  • Demonstrated experience with Modelling software would be desirable
