The Delivery Liaison Officer co-ordinates and engages between the Department and high-level stakeholders such as Local Government Areas and also has key deliverables including correspondence via our eBriefing system.

Position Outcomes
• Collaborate and investigate, where required, with key internal and external stakeholders on various issues impacting the road network
• Understand stakeholder needs to determine matters of importance
• Provide administrative support including the preparation of reports, development of maintenance agreements, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level
• Provide accurate and timely support, resolve local operational issues and provide improvements to business operations
• Help ensure that functions are completed within required timeframes and to required standards
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA - As a Delivery Officer, you will build strong partnerships with stakeholders through collaboration and co-creation to develop effective and sustainable solutions. You will apply systems thinking to understand the broader organisational and community context, breaking down complex issues to identify actionable insights. Using critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you will objectively analyse data, stakeholder needs, and varying perspectives to recommend informed decisions. You will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by adjusting your approach to meet changing priorities and adopting new ways of working to achieve results. Effective stakeholder management will be key, as you identify those impacted by decisions, maintain engagement, and manage expectations throughout the delivery process. You will also navigate political and organisational contexts with awareness, ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Mandatory
• Proven experience with drafting written communications
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Driver's License (without any restriction which preclude the incumbent from performing the inherent requirements of the position and which cannot be reasonably accommodated by the Department)
Desirable
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
