Overseas Packers & Shippers is a family-owned international relocation company established in 1976. Based on Brisbane's northside, we specialise in moving household goods in and out of Australia. With nearly 50 years of experience, we're proud of our reputation for professionalism, care, and outstanding service.
The Role
We're seeking an organised and proactive Export Coordinator to join our team. This varied and challenging role will see you coordinating export shipments, liaising with clients and partners, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Book air and ocean freight
- Coordinate with Operations to meet shipping schedules
- Prepare shipping documentation for freight forwarders and shipping lines
- Lodge export cargo via Australian Border Force ICS system
- Lodge container documentation through 1-Stop
- Liaise with clients to obtain documentation
- Communicate with overseas partners to despatch shipments
- Provide support to the Imports Department when required
What You'll Bring
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and use initiative
- Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Word)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management – able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ownership of tasks, with the ability to report back and follow through
- Previous experience in exports coordination is an advantage but not essential
