About the role

Central Melbourne Cardiology is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary/Receptionist to join our team in our Coburg practice. This full-time role will provide administrative and secretarial support to our medical specialists, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming and greeting patients, scheduling appointments and managing the patient diary
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • Preparing and processing medical correspondence and documentation
  • Providing administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Medical Secretary/Receptionist is desired but not necessary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with patients, clinician and other staff
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities with an eye for detail
  • Proficient in using medical software systems are desired but not necessary and standard office applications
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • A caring and compassionate approach to supporting patients and the medical team
