About The Role
Global Synthetics is seeking a motivated and skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our passionate team in Altona, VIC. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth day-to-day operation of the business whilst maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships.

Your primary responsibilities will include answering inbound calls, following up customer quotations, responding to customer enquiries, managing leads, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Your commitment to exceptional service and eagerness to learn combined with your ability to listen and understand customer needs will be key to your success in this position.

Ideal candidates possess a proactive, self-driven approach and will be comfortable leveraging technology to enhance internal processes. Global Synthetics offers ongoing training and a supportive team atmosphere where you can excel. No previous experience in the industry is required.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responding to inbound enquiries by phone and email and managing outbound sales calls
  • Placing customer orders accurately and maintaining and updating customer records
  • Preparing quotations and following-up quotations with customers
  • Collaborating with Sales and Operations teams
  • Managing distributor relationships
  • Generating quality leads

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in inside sales or a customer-focused role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems. Experience of SAP is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Eager to learn and grow and continuously expand on knowledge
  • Transport, manufacturing, civil construction or similar industry experience is advantageous
