**The Company**
Our client has been a global leader in the FMCG beverage industry for over 50 years, providing much loved products & service to consumers all over the world. The Australian business has experienced a strong growth period in the last 2 years, due to a high performing product mix and strong operational team to support this. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Sales Rep to join the VIC team. The position is a full-time field-based role, Monday to Friday. The remuneration includes base salary + car allowance + super + bonus, as well as phone & laptop.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative would be responsible for:

- Visiting all major retailers and independents where product is ranged (South West Victoria region)
- Achieving monthly and quarterly area sales budgets
- Managing relationships with retailers within designated sales area
- Daily reporting on retail visits through CRM system
- Seeking and developing new door opportunities
- Providing necessary training and sales support to retail stores
- Managing part-time merchandiser, scheduling rosters and merchandising visits
- Completing store visits within agreed call cycle
- Placing and influencing store orders in direct ordering retailers through CRM
- Attend quarterly sales meetings

**Preferred Experience**
The successful applicant ideally will have:

- 2+ years in field sales, ideally retail/FMCG/electrical
- Ability to work autonomously & drive standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation & rapport building
- Valid drivers licence & car
