About the role

Join the team at Gippsland Truck Centre as a full-time Parts Sales Representative based in Leongatha, Victoria. In this key customer-facing role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advice to our valued clients in the Truck and Transport industry. You will specialise in TRP, Kenworth and DAF parts, but be ready to help provide parts advice for all makes and models.

What you'll be doing

  1. Responding to customer inquiries and orders, both in-person and over the phone
  2. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our extensive parts inventory and recommending the best solutions to meet customer needs
  3. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  4. Providing outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with our clients
  5. Supporting the overall operations of the parts department

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a customer service or sales role within the automotive parts industry
  2. Excellent product knowledge and the ability to accurately identify and source the right parts
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  4. Proficient in using computerised inventory and point-of-sale systems
  5. A collaborative team player with a proactive and flexible approach
  6. A valid driver's licence
