Our fine wines and restaurant attract more than 600 visitors per week giving them a unique dining experience in a tranquil setting with a country feel but only minutes from suburbia.

The person:

Are you the kind of person who loves planning, organizing, and thrive in high-energy environments where no two days are the same, Arundel Farm Estate is looking for a passionate and detail-driven Wedding and Event Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

As our Wedding and Event Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person and work closely with Marketing, FOH Management and our clients to plan and execute a wide range of events from weddings and private parties to corporate functions and large-scale celebrations. You'll be involved from concept to completion, ensuring that every detail is perfectly in place and every event runs like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage face-to-face client relations, converting warm leads into direct sales.
  • Develop tailored proposals based on the client needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and run sheets
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of events, from booking to post-event wrap-up
  • Coordinate events, assisting venue manager with daily operations and ensuring seamless event execution.

  • Support Restaurant Manager with hands on ala carte when required

  • Support Marketing with general administration and sales/ marketing duties.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget
  • Be present on event days to oversee setup, execution, and pack down
  • Provide exceptional service that reflects our commitment to excellence
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams
  • Troubleshoot in real-time and solve problems with professionalism and calm
  • Ensure every client feels supported, understood, and impressed

What we're looking for:

  • Have at least 3 years' experience in event coordination (wedding experience preferred)
  • Are highly organized with excellent time management
  • Love working with people and have top-notch communication skills
  • Are available to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills—you never miss a detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and event management software and booking systems.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Hold a current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Have the right to work in Australia
