The Role
As the Facilities Coordinator, you are involved in project management and co-ordination to ensure an affordable, safe, welcoming and collaborative workplace. You are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Oxfam office locations and involves negotiation, planning and budgeting. In this role, you are responsible for co-ordinating contractors providing essential building services for the Melbourne office, including cleaning, security, pest control and providing robust building procurement activities. You will co-ordinate leases for shared office spaces across Australia.
A little about you (the key selection criteria)
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated high-level negotiation and influencing skills to manage facilities contracts and key supplier relationships
- Proven project management expertise on all major building related works from concept to completion, including but not limited to office refurbishments, system upgrades and office relocations
- Keen eye for detail whilst maintaining everyday tasks such as augmenting a welcoming reception experience and completing related administrative functions / requirements (eg. emails and invoicing)
- Optimise business continuity of building operations services through exceptional planning and ingenious and highly credible collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Grounded experience in commercial acumen with superlative cost saving efficiencies, whilst balancing values alignment with Oxfam Australia and commitment to the work we do
