We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Ground Support Equipment Fleet. This a pivotal responsible for asset management, maintenance coordination, and operational performance.

You'll lead a high-performing team, champion safety and quality, and drive customer satisfaction. The role will initially be remote and transition to being based at Western Sydney Airport, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including coordination with workshop and technical teams.
  • Ensure workshop productivity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee the daily use and management of the pooling software alongside airport ground operations.
  • Support the development of operational planning to optimise pooling effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and cost control measures.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and respond to major client concerns.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop Servicing staff to build a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Champion the adoption of continuous innovation.
About You:
  • You have a tertiary education/ a trade in engineering, mechanics or electrical disciplines.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles within a relevant industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial growth and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L and budget management experience.
  • Solid understanding of airport and GSE operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Work with a growing and reputable organisation at the forefront of airport operations.
  • Be part of a supportive team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Play a key leadership role in one of Australia's newest airport developments.
