Job Description:
">The primary function of this role is to lead the operations of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of financial management systems, including Financial Management Information Systems. They should also have a strong understanding of financial controls and fiscal governance.
">Main Responsibilities:

- Manage key areas across AR including levy and other revenue billing management and collections, reviewing account reconciliations, and investigating any irregularities or enquiries.">
- Review fortnightly payment runs and ensure AP transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner, as well as review monthly reconciliation of payables sub-ledgers.">
- Provide analysis and support to vendors and staff, and work closely with the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) in relation to the annual external audit.">
- Fiscal management of activities and safeguarding of assets in accordance with legislation, policy, and management requirements.">
Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Extensive knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems.">
- Strong understanding of financial controls and fiscal governance.">
- Well-developed management, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.">
- Advanced Excel and strong numeracy skills.">
- Ability to prioritise and strong time management skills.">
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.">
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.">
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.">
- Ability to problem solve and excel in situations of ambiguity.">
Desirable but Not Essential Knowledge/Experience:

- Knowledge of Oracle, TM1, Zeno highly regarded.">
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting compliance / legislative instruments.">
- Tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in accounting and CPA/ACA or equivalent certification.">
