Role overview
We're seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to grow our electrical products footprint with end-user customers in OEMs, Mining, Manufacturing, and trades. You'll leverage deep electrical product knowledge to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals that deliver value and drive revenue. This role can be Office Based or a Hybrid flexible working model from your location in NSW.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute territory sales plans for target OEMs, mining operators, manufacturers, and trades, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify new opportunities and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to contract close.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key account stakeholders (procurement, engineering, maintenance, and operations).
- Articulate compelling value propositions around electrical products, pricing, delivery, and service levels.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure solutions meet customer needs and on-time delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory considerations; translate insights into differentiated offerings.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and activity in CRM; report progress to leadership as needed.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety, and quality requirements; champion safety and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, briefs, and customer meetings; develop a strong external presence.
- Explore channel opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market penetration.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven B2B sales experience selling electrical products or solutions to OEMs, mining, manufacturing, and trades.
- Strong electrical product knowledge; ability to translate complex electrical systems into practical customer value propositions.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow existing accounts; track record of achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Excellent stakeholder management, consultative selling, and enterprise-level negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort using CRM and sales analytics to manage pipelines and forecast.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed; comfortable in multi-site or regional settings.
