Part-Time HR Manager – L.A Donuts

Location: Taren Point

Hours: Part-Time- up to 30 hours/week

About Us:

L.A Donuts is a beloved local bakery dedicated to serving delicious, high-quality donuts and providing excellent customer service. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Part-Time HR Manager to join our team and help us maintain a positive, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Position Overview:

The Part-Time HR Manager will be responsible for supporting our team through effective human resource practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role is vital in fostering a welcoming workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new staff members
  • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
  • Support staff scheduling and attendance tracking
  • Address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Facilitate employee training and development initiatives
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration (if applicable)
  • Expertise in using Deputy and Xero
  • Collaborate with management on HR-related issues to improve workplace policies

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in human resources or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
