Salary Package: $150k + Super + Parking
Role Highlights: Career-defining opportunity to join a reputable national transport and logistics provider as part of the Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-impact role with the ability to influence critical business decisions.
Role Overview
Reporting to the CFO, the Senior HR Manager will be responsible for the strategic HR agenda and analysis for the various business units. You will provide monthly HR reporting and updates to the management team and business leaders, whilst maintaining daily high level HR support and advice to the business and stakeholders. A typical day in this layered role will see you liaising with key internal stakeholders and supporting with critical HR business needs whilst maintaining a streamlined agenda.
Develop a strategic HR agenda for the business and provide HR forecasting and reports in line with organisational requirements. This role will give you the autonomy to make an impact to the People and Culture part of the business.
Responsibilities
- Create and update HR policies, ensure they comply with laws, and inform employees about them
- Set KPIs, write job descriptions, and help with company restructuring
- Guide managers on employee performance and development
- Develop and run the new review and update employee induction process
- Oversee all hiring activities with the line managers and in conjunction with the Recruitment Coordinator
- Support the company with employee relations, performance management, recruitment, training, and rewards
- Create HR and payroll reports for the executive team as required
- Advise on legislative changes, workforce planning, and skills development
- Manage Fair Work-related matters and general IR and ER issues
Candidate Profile
You will have extensive experience in HR management with relevant tertiary qualifications. You will need to have the ability to travel occasionally between sites as required. A through and strong background in IR and ER knowledge including Award Interpretation and Enterprise Agreements is a must and exposure to a FMCG/ blue collar industry experience will be highly regarded. A dynamic and strategic leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills will help you exceed in this role.
