The HR Manager is responsible for leading the Human Resources function at Parratech, ensuring the effective delivery of people strategies, policies, and processes that support the company's growth and operational objectives. This role will provide strategic and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, employee relations, and compliance with workplace legislation.

The HR Manager will partner closely with managers across the business to foster a positive, safe, and high-performing workplace culture aligned with Parratech's values.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Parratech's business goals and workforce needs.

· Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team on people-related matters.

· Provide guidance on organisational design, succession planning, and workforce planning.

Recruitment and Onboarding

· Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely and high-quality hires.

· Partner with managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.

· Oversee effective onboarding and induction programs to ensure new employees integrate successfully into the business.

Employee Relations & Engagement

· Provide advice and support to managers and employees on HR issues, policies, and procedures.

· Promote employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellbeing activities.

· Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and performance concerns fairly and consistently.

Performance & Development

· Lead the performance management process, ensuring regular feedback and reviews take place.

· Support managers in setting KPIs, objectives, and development plans for their teams.

· Oversee training and development initiatives, including compliance training and leadership capability building.

Compliance & Policy Management

· Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation, Awards, and industrial relations requirements.

· Maintain up-to-date HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.

· Monitor and report on HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and workforce demographics.

Payroll, Remuneration & Benefits

· Review and administer remuneration frameworks, benefits, and incentive programs.

· Provide advice on salary benchmarking and market competitiveness.

Workplace Culture & Safety Collaboration

· Champion Parratech's values and drive initiatives that enhance a positive workplace culture.

· Work collaboratively with the Head of Safety to ensure integration of HR and WHS policies.

· Support diversity, equity, and inclusion practices across the organisation.

Key Skills & Attributes

· Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.

· Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards, and HR best practice.

· Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the business.

· High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.

· Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proactive, hands-on approach with both strategic and operational HR capability.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

· Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR leadership/management role.

· Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or construction industries preferred.

· Demonstrated experience with HR systems, reporting, and compliance.
