We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as Manager, Disruption Management, where you will directly support nbn's crisis and/or emergency response to major disruptive events.
A bit about your role
The Manager, Disruption Management, is part of the team that helps nbn respond to disruptive events, specifically focusing on enhancing the organisation's crisis & emergency response capabilities. The role involves designing and delivering training, testing, exercises, and debriefs to prepare senior leadership and business units for major disruptions, while also coordinating real-time crisis & emergency responses.
The role includes on-call responsibilities to support crisis & emergency response efforts.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing responses to strategic and operational disruptive events, preferably within a critical infrastructure environment. They should possess experience in managing real-world crises and emergencies. Experience in training and exercising senior leadership teams (SLTs) in responding to disruptive events is essential.
The role requires a strong understanding of response team attributes such as situational awareness, critical thinking, stakeholder management, decision-making and time & task management. The ideal candidate will be a strong planner, a team-player, comfortable in conversing with senior leaders and have an adaptive mindset.
