Procurement Officer

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a wide range of people, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to grow their career in a critical business support function.
About the Role
Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you'll support a range of procurement and contract management activities. You'll help maintain procurement systems, prepare reports, coordinate contract renewals, and contribute to key improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across a wide range of procurement and contract management activities Coordinate reporting and assist with the preparation of data and insights for internal stakeholders Help manage procurement systems and contract records, ensuring compliance and accuracy Track and support key contract milestones such as renewals, supplier reviews, and insurance updates Contribute to ongoing initiatives in the Procurement Maturity Growth Roadmap Deliver low-risk procurement activities in line with policy and governance frameworksWhat You'll Bring
Strong communication skills – verbal and written – and enjoys engaging with a range of stakeholders Great organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing tasks A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate work A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships Confidence using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) Experience in Procurement, Contract Management, or a related field is desirableThis is your chance to join a dynamic team and make a real impact in a crucial business function that supports Melbourne Park to put on world-class events.
