The Opportunity

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and relationship-driven Procurement Officer to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the procurement function across our network of aged care homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for efficiency, and the ability to build great relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.

What You Will Do

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement team.
  • Assist with tender processes, contract management, and supplier documentation.
  • Maintain supplier databases, preferred supplier lists, and integration programs.
  • Support sourcing, purchasing, and onboarding of new suppliers and products.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve procurement queries and provide purchasing guidance.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement systems, policies, and procedures.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, accounts payable, or business administration.
  • Excellent time management and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in the aged care or not-for-profit sector.
  • Understanding of Accounts Payable principles and commercial acumen.
