Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, cleaning equipment, and related machinery
  • Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
  • Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment accurately and safely
  • Maintain service records, parts usage, and repair documentation
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
  • Support the team by providing technical expertise and reliable workmanship

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III, IV, or Diploma of Automotive Technology (or equivalent qualification/experience)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in small engine servicing or repairs
  • Strong knowledge of small engine systems, components, and diagnostics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace
