We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

THE ROLE

Join us as a
Process/ Chemical Engineer
in our Laverton North depot to contribute with our liquid waste processing and tank farm operations.

Reporting to the branch manager you'll provide technical support to the business where you will gain valuable hands-on experience.

This role offers growth opportunities, including the potential to step into a managerial position, while driving the success of our operations.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the business with technical expertise and respond to team inquiries.
• Contribute to waste oil aggregation , oily water treatment, and disposal operations.
• Engage in plant operations with focus on process optimisation.
• Work towards developing your skills to progress into a leadership role.
• Manage sampling and testing of waste oil and industrial wastewater.

ABOUT YOU

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Motivated to learn and eager to contribute to operational success.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Interest in waste management and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in hazardous waste and water treatment is highly regarded.
