The RoleAs Sous Chef, you will help craft a unique degustation experience showcasing seasonal local produce and Australian Native Bush Foods. You will contribute to menu development, present dishes directly to guests, and share the story behind each plate. A passion for native ingredients and exceptional guest service is key.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including rostering and ordering.
- Lead by example, mentoring and training kitchen staff.
- Create high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless dining experiences.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking.
- Strong skills in menu planning, cost management, and stock control.
- A passion for food and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- A current driver's license is desirable.
- Immediate start
- This is a seasonal contract role until October 2025

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
