About the Opportunities
We are excited to announce openings for multiple Recruitment Officer – Clerk Grade 5/6 positions, within School Recruitment.
We welcome applications from individuals with experience and enthusiasm for recruitment of school-based staff. From this recruitment process, a recruitment pool will be created to fill upcoming temporary and ongoing Recruitment Officer - Clerk Grade 5/6 roles across School Recruitment.

About the role
The Recruitment Officer provides specialist advice and delivers high quality customer service to support the recruitment and placement of school-based staff.
You will play a key role in partnering with stakeholders within our school networks, providing them with specialist advice and support and ensuring adherence to our Staffing Agreement and relevant Awards.
About you
To be successful, you will:
- Possess time management and multitasking skills, enabling you to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. This includes answering multiple calls throughout the day and working within a rostered phone-based system while meeting the daily requirements of the position.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, maintain a positive, can-do attitude, and take accountability as a dedicated recruitment contact for a school network.
- Have great attention to detail and enjoy building trusting relationships and collaborating with school communities.
- Be adaptable, flexible and forward thinking.
- Be a self-starter who is motivated to provide meaningful outcomes for children in NSW public schools.
- Build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders with competing and time priorities and tight deadlines in a high pressure, dynamic working environment.

Essential requirements, experience and knowledge
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in human resource management, operations, customer service or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
