About the role
The Senior Project Officer manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of program and projects that support the achievement of organisational objectives. The role supports the delivery of two key programs, the NSW Training Awards and the VET Ambassadors program to promote and recognise excellence in Vocational Education and Training in NSW.

About you
- Showing experience in leading and managing projects, to ensure outcomes are achieved in accordance with agreed targets.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Adaptable with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Current driver's licence and a willingness to travel.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
